Abstract

This paper explores innovative teaching strategies for college English education from a multicultural perspective, aiming to address the challenges of cultural homogeneity in traditional teaching. Based on intercultural communication theories and empirical research, the study identifies three core strategies: multicultural curriculum integration, interactive teaching model innovation, and diversified assessment system construction. It is argued that integrating multicultural elements into English teaching can enhance students’ intercultural competence and global literacy. The findings provide practical references for promoting multicultural education in college English courses.
