Abstract
This paper delves into the connotative characteristics and practical approaches of the digital transformation of university teaching. By analyzing the background of digital development in education, it clarifies that the digital transformation of university teaching is a comprehensive change involving teaching concepts, processes, and evaluation. The study summarizes four core connotative characteristics: data - driven decision - making, personalized learning experience, intelligent teaching interaction, and seamless integration of online and offline. Based on case studies of typical universities, three practical approaches are proposed: strengthening digital
teaching infrastructure construction, promoting the deep integration of digital technology and teaching content, and cultivating digital -competent teaching staff. The research aims to provide theoretical and practical references for accelerating the digital transformation of
university teaching.
